We look for startups that boost the logistics of the Tarapacá Region in the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor that connects Chile with Brazil
Challenge closed
Since 2009, the Collahuasi Foundation has constantly worked to improve the education of public schools in Tarapacá, supporting the sustainable growth of their communities. Recently, the Foundation has expanded its focus towards innovation and entrepreneurship, especially those with high social, economic, technological and environmental impact. Moreover, the Regional Corporation of Tarapacá's Development plays a key role in this regard and ensures the productive development of the region and the decentralization of its decisions.
In this context, this challenge aims to find sustainable technologies and solutions that boost the attractiveness of the Tarapacá Region as part of the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor, route that connects the Pacific with the Atlantic Ocean. It seeks to facilitate the international trade and connectivity between the Tarapacá and the mid-west of Brazil, in addition to contributing to the local startup ecosystem's growth and acceleration.
Specifically, the Tarapacá Connection Route Challenge aims to identify solutions for the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor that focus in promoting security and cargo tracking, integrated digital systems and sustainable transportation in its various stages, processes and points.
Challenge Focuses
Develop control systems of logistics in Tarapacá that promote the use of the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor in a safe, integrated and sustainable way in the Region.
Security and monitoring
Contribute to build an integrated and centralized digital data system that connects all links in the logistics chain to optimize port and transportation management, simplifying trade through the Tarapacá Region.
Integrated digital systems
Promote the development of transportation technologies powered by clean energies to promote the use of sustainable transportation in the Tarapacá Region and the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor.
